등산이라고 제목을 붙였지만 사실 등산이라고 말하기조차 어렵고 동네 올레길 탐방 정도의 짧은 산책이라 보아야 할 것이다. 충남대, KAIST를 돌아가던 출근길을 충남대 뒷산을 가로질러 본 것. 나 말고 누가 있겠어 라는 단순한 생각을 했지만 이게 웬걸, 운동하는 아저씨 아줌마 할아버지들이 퍽 많았다. 덕택에 초행길에 마주치는 갈림길마다 물어가며 쉽게 갈 수 있었다.
아래 사진은 코스 중간지점인데 2km반환점이라고 찍혀 있는 의미를 잘 모르겠다. 구글맵으로 보면 전체 코스길이가 2km인 것이다.
충남대 도서관 옆에서 시작되어 대전 시민 천문대로 끝나는 충남대 뒷산 등산로는 어려운 경사 없이 약 30분가량이 소요된다. 노은동 지족산보다 길이 좋다. 나무가 울창하여 위에 올라도 전망이 나오지 않는점이 아쉽지만, 산길을 걷는 좋은 느낌에 멀지 않은 길이 더욱 가깝게 느껴지는 것이다.
This morning I hiked to work. It's been a long time. It is a mountain near Chugnam university. I don't know the actual name of it. The entrance to the hiking path is located near the library of Chungnam university. A narrow but enjoyable path begins there. Dense trees and wild flowers greets hikers. Against my imagination, there were lots of people this morning. There are lots of diligent people in the world!
The trail was ended at a star observatory. It took around half hour to finish the course. Google map says it's 2 kilometers. It was not that steep and not that far. I hope I will hike there again with HO and HM. They will surely like there.
