2013년도 반이 지나갈려고 한다. 특별한 일 없는 직장생활. 여가시간동안에는 영어를 공부하려고 노력중이다. 아래 책은 최근 즐겁게 공부하는 3가지 영어 책 중 하나이다. 다른 두권은 "1100 Words You Need To Know"와 "Verbal Advantage".

(201206) 4월부터 짬짬히 읽었다. 속담안에 들어있는 속 뜻을 알아가는 과정은 공부라기 보다는 재미이다. 어린시절 즐겨 읽었었고, HO도 재미있어 한다. 영어라고 다르지 않고, 도리어 다른 문화권이라 더 재미있는 느낌이다. 어디 이런 책 또 없을까..

I greatly enjoyed reading this very easy-to-read and funny book. Reading origins and hidden meanings of idioms was a very delightful experience.

6월에는 잠시 수영을 쉬기로 했다. 접영만은 석달을 해도 아직 한참 남았다는 생각이 든다. 수영을 쉬는동안 대신할 운동을 찾다보니 복싱과 농구가 눈에 들어온다. HO와 놀려고 농구공 축구공을 산 덕분. 하지만 HO는 아직 농구공을 골대까지 던지지 못하고 있어서 농구대신 축구를 하자고 한다.

I don't enroll the swim class at June. Skin condition was not good nowadays. I am not sure that there are relation between swimming and skin condition. It's a pretext, I confess. I'm somewhat bored of my butterfly lesson because my skill improvement is below my expectation. Butterfly is not like crawl of breaststroke, I think. Basketball? Boxing? There are many other interesting activities worth try.
